The same in-browser Matroska engine, packaged for the Nextcloud Viewer. Click a
.mkv and it just plays — dozens of codecs, ASS/SSA subtitles, offline
audio transcoding. Free to install, with a small corner watermark. A future commercial license
will remove the watermark and support continued development.

The free AGPL-licensed version remains available. Commercial licensing options for organizations and closed-source deployments are planned for 2027.
